Description

Single resistor rheostat to be connected in series with the excitation winding of AC Synchronous or DC Machines to adjust their field winding.

Applicable as single phase resistive load, to control AC and DC current, etc.

It is sized to start the motor of its range at 50% of its nominal torque for 30 second.
