Connects directly to any XR440 Data Logger input channel, no external power required. Up to four PT510 probes may be connected to one XR440 Data Logger.

The PT510 consists of a thin-film 10,000 ohm platinum element encased in a laminated composition of Kapton, Silicon Rubber and Mylar. Pressure sensitive "peel and stick" adhesive backing. A maximum of four PT510 probes may be connected to one XR440 Data Logger.
Please Note: Standard 100, 200 and 1000 ohm RTDs do not work with the XR440 Data Logger.

If longer leads are required, you can easily splice extension cable to the PT510. We recommend using copper 24 gauge two-conductor stranded cable for cable extensions of up to 150 ft. (45 meters). For longer extensions, use 22 gauge two-conductor stranded cable. Acceptable methods of splicing sensor leads to extension cable include small wire nuts, crimp connectors, hand twisting and taping, or solder. For cable runs longer than 20 feet, we recommend using shielded cable (Belden 9501 or equivalent).
