Note: The THx128 sensors are being replaced with THx138 sensors. Any corresponding THx128 sensor will function with the matching THx138 sensor.


Batteries: The THx128 sensors series use "AAA" batteries. The THx138 sensors use "AA" batteries. If you want to use the sensors in cold climates, we recommend replacing the standard "AA" batteries with "AA" Lithium batteries. These are available in most electronics, camera, and variety stores

This additional 433MHz remote sensor is for use with Oregon Scientific's CABLE-FREE THERMO-HYGROMETERS with 3-channel main unit.   The sensor features a splash-proof case design, 2-line LCD displaying temperature and humidity, LED transmission indicator, user-select temperature display (Celsius or Farinheight), temperature measuring range -4°F to +140°F, table or wall-mount and low-battery indicator.  Uses two UM-3 or AA size 1.5-volt alkaline batteries.

 

Model THC268
This remote sensor is for Oregon Scientific's EMR963HG Cable Free Thermo-Hygrometer.  With one line LCD display is features a ten foot long water proof probe for measuring pool or soil temperature. Measuring range -4F to 140F

 

Model THC-138 Has LCD display plus it features a 11 foot long waterproof temperature probe for soil, pools, hot tubs freezers etc. Range -58F to 158F (uses two AA batteries)

  

 

Model THR-138 (right in picture above) the basic remote sensor with one line LCD display and is designed for remote temperature reporting where viewing the location temperature is important.  The unit is safe to -4°F when using Lithium batteries (uses two AA batteries).
